4. Clean the reflector sheet for the ending sensor.
• Remove dust on the reflector sheet of the ending sensor with a
cotton swab. The reflector sheet is located behind the shaft.

5. Verify that the sensor rollers are installed properly.
6. Clean the upper and lower imaging guide and the sensor rollers with
a roller cleaning pad.
NOTE: If the sensor rollers are removed while cleaning, reinstall
them after cleaning.

7. Gently close the ADF door and turn on the scanner.
8. After cleaning the rollers, open the User Utility and click Clear
Counter to clear the roller counter. For more information, see the
section entitled, “Scanner counter” in Chapter 5, User Utility.
