Telephone line connection
Attach the ferrite core to the telephone line cord as illustrated below.
Plug the telephone line cord to the LINE jack and the other end to the wall
jack.
Connecting an external phone
If you want to use your machine for receiving both faxes and voice calls, con-
nect the external telephone (or an answering machine) to your machine.
