8.8 Copying Pamphlets (“Booklet Original” Function)
This function is available only if optional finisher FS-603 is installed. A pam-
phlet with its staples removed can be copied and bound with staples at the
center to create copies of the original pamphlet.

Detail
For details on stapling, refer to “To bind copies at the center (“Fold & Sta-
ple”)” on page 3-83.
The number of sheets that can be stapled together is no more than 15
and differs depending on the paper type. For details, refer to “Specifying
Center Binding” on page 3-82.
Setting Description
Center Erase ON The pages are copied with a 1/2 in. margin at the center of the doc-
ument (area bound with staples).
Center Erase OFF Copies are made of the entire page, including the center of the doc-
ument (area bound with staples).
