Step 17: CV Extension Shaft Installation
17.1 Verify correct shaft length and installation parameters as
dened in the Alignment Specications Chart (Figure E on
page 28 in this manual) and the alignment procedure from
Step 6E on page 32 in this manual before proceeding.
17.2 Connect CV adaptor ange to gimbal carrier ange. Apply
Loctite to threads of fasteners. Torque fasteners to 88 lb.
ft. (120 Nm).
17.3 Connect CV adaptor ange to transmission output ange.
Apply Loctite to threads of fasteners. Torque fasteners
correctly according to their size.
