Ice Machine Cycles Into Harvest Before Water
Loses Contact with the Harvest Float Switch
Step 1 Disconnect power to the ice machine, remove
the electrical panel to allow viewing of the control board
lights and disconnect the harvest float switch from the
control board.

Step 2 Reapply power and move the toggle switch to
Ice to bypass the freeze time lock-in feature. Wait until
water flows over the evaporator, then refer to chart.
Result Correction
The harvest light does not come
on and the ice machine stays
in freeze.
The ice thickness float switch,
connectors or wiring are
causing the malfunction. Refer
to float switch diagnostics.
10 seconds into the freeze
cycle the ice machine cycles
from freeze to harvest and
the control board harvest light
energizes.
Replace the control board.
