Editing the TXT le on a Mac
1 Launch BBEdit.
2 Open the original TXT le.
3 In the status bar (in the lower part of the window) nd the Document Text
Encoding parameter (it usually defaults to Unicode UTF-8). Click it to open the
popup menu, and choose Unicode (UTF-8, with BOM).
4 Next to it in the status bar, nd the Line Break Type parameter, usually
defaulting to Unix (LF). Click it to open the popup menu, and choose Windows
(CRLF).
5 Save a copy of the le by choosing File > Save As. Give the new le a name, and
be sure that the Save As dialog box shows the correct Line breaks and Encoding.
6 Load the le into your instrument, and check it.
