– Check the chain sliding guard for wear at the recess.

When the chain sliding guard is new, the rivets

half visible at the bottom edge

of the recess.
» When the rivets of the chain are no longer visible at the
bottom edge of the recess of the chain sliding guard:
– Change the chain sliding guard.
– Check that the chain sliding guard is firmly seated.
» If the chain sliding guard is loose:
– Tighten the screws on the chain sliding guard.
