91REGULAR CHECKS AND MAINTENANCE WORK
A Charge only with R134a not R12 refrigerant (gas).
BCleaning Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)
C Removal of ash
The longer the DPF runs, the more ash (burnt residue) is
collected in the filter. Too much ash build-up adversely
affects the DPF performance.
Machine is equipped with the DPF cleaning alarm system,
clean the DPF in case of an alarm or every 6000 operating
hours.
The above cleanup intervals depend on the machine’s
operating conditions and other factors.
Ask your local KUBOTA Dealer to clean up the filter every
6000 operating hours.
A To clean up the DPF, a specific machine is required.
Do not attempt to clean it in any other way, such as
disassembling, shaking and heating as toxic
chemicals may be present inside of the DPF.
BDraining the fuel filter
If the warning message of the water separator appears as
follows on the LCD, immediately drain the water
separator. (For detail procedure, refer to "Draining Water
Separator" in "EVERY 50 SERVICE HOURS".)
A If you don’t drain the water separator immediately after
the alarm, the engine may be seriously damaged.
A Without the water separator drained, the cleaning
efficiency of the DPF will be reduced and the DPF
longevity will be shorter than expected.
