INSPECTION
Roll the axle on a flat surface to inspect the
pivot shaft.
Replace it if bends.
Inspect the swing arm.
Replace it if crack, bend or damage.
Inspect the thrust cover, chain guide, collar
and bush.
Replace them if wear or damage.
Inspect the drive chain stiffness.
Clean and lubricate or replace it if stiff.
CLEAN
Place it in kerosene, and brush off as much
dirt as possible. Then remove the chain
from the kerosene and dry the chain.
Do not attempt to straighten a bent axle.
