INSPECTION
Check each weight roller for wear or damage.
Measure each weight roller O.D.
Service Limit: 15.4 mm (0.616 in)
Measure the movable drive face bushing I.D.
Service Limit:
90cc: 24.06 mm (0.9624 in)
70cc/50cc: 20.6 mm (0.824 in)
ASSEMBLY
Install the weight rollers into the movable
drive face.
Install the ramp plate.
Check the drive pulley collar for wear or
damage.
Measure the O.D. of the drive pulley collar
sliding surface.
Service Limit:
90cc: 23.94 mm (0.9576 in)
70cc/50cc-4T: 19.94 mm (0.7976 in)
50cc-2T: 19.98 mm (0.7992 in)
INSTALLATION
Install the drive pulley face assembly and
collar.
Install the drive pulley, starting ratchet and
nut.
Torque: 60 N-m (6kgf-m, 43 lbf-ft)
Apply oil the threads
z When installing the drive pulley face,
compress it to let the drive belt move
downward to the lowest position so that
the drive pulley can be tightened.
z Do not get oil or grease on the drive belt
or pulley faces.
