Installation
Removing the Multi-purpose Tray
Before installing the bulk paper feeder, remove the multi-purpose tray from the
front of the printer. The procedure is as follows.
Note The printers multi-purpose tray cannot be used together
with the optional bulk feeder.
1. Pull the printers paper feed unit release lever, then draw the paper feed
unit fully out of the printer.
2. Gently tilt the multi-purpose tray toward the printer until that it rests on
its side as shown in the figure.
