5. Remove two screws and remove the scan-
ner right cover.
6. Cut out the aperture plate on the upper right
cover using nippers.
7. Pull the key counter wire out.

8. Seat the fook of the key counter cover
retainer in the aperture in the right upper
cover.
9. Fit the key counter cover retainer using two
screws.
