Checking messages
Description
Displays a list of messages or graphics on the operation panel.
Purpose
To check the messages or graphics to be displayed.
Method
1. Press the start key.
2. Select the item to be displayed using the cursor up/down keys.
3. Press the start key. The selected item is displayed.
Method to display the messages
1. Change the screen using the cursor up/down keys to display each message one at a time.
Select the language using the cursor left/right keys.
2. To return to the screen for selecting an item, press the stop/clear key.
Method to display the graphics
1. Change the screen using the cursor up/down keys to display each graphic one at a time.
Select the background (black or white) using the cursor left/right keys.
2. To return to the screen for selecting an item, press the stop/clear key.
Completion
Press the stop/clear key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.

Setting the finisher
Description
Provides various settings for the built-in finisher, if furnished.
Purpose
Adjusts the side registration cursor stop position if paper registration is poor or stapling is made outside the
specified area.
Setting
1. Press the start key.
2. Select the desired cursor position using the cursor up/down keys.
3. Change the setting using the cursor left/right keys.
4. Press the start key. The value is set.
Completion
Press the stop/clear key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.
