Pull the LSU drive unit (s) to the center of the main
unit and pull out the LSU cleaning motor wire (q)
through the hole (v) on the left frame of the main
unit.
Note:
The LSU drive unit (s) cannot be take out since
the FFC is connected at this procedure.

Release 4 hooks (x) of COVER DUCT LEFT (w) at
the rear side of the main unit (LSU cleaning motor
side) in the order of 1 to 4 in the figureCOVER and
detach COVER DUCT LEFT (w).

Disconnect the FFC terminal (z) from the FFC
connector on the drum relay PWB (y).

Detach COVER DUCT LEFT(w) of the new LSU
drive unit (s) (35/35ppm printer/MFP: No4, 40ppm
printer: No5) at the rear side of the main unit (LSU
cleaning motor side) (Refer to Procedure 7)
