(4) Within approximately 15 seconds, observe the Status Window displays: “OK”
“RECORDING” in blue.
(5) In Recorder Events block, click the Set Memory Marker button to set a
memory marker in the recorder under test prior to installation in the aircraft.
(6) Observe ROSE pop-up window states: “SUCCESS − Memory marker X was set
successfully.”
(7) Note the number assigned to the Memory marker (1−15). Click the OK button.
(8) Click the Close button to exit the Test Flight Recorder menu and return to the
ROSE Main menu.
(9) Click the Import/Export Flight Data button to access the Flight Data File Con-
trol window.
(10) Click the Import New Data button.
(11) Click the radial button for Dump Flight Data from Memory Mark option.
(12) Observe that the number that appears in the small box matches the Memory
Marker number set previously in step (6).
(13) Click the Close button to exit the Flight Data File Control menu and return to
the ROSE Main menu screen. Press Test Flight Recorder button.
(14) At the Test Flight Recorder window, under the Simulated Data block click the
Stop Data button.
(15) Observe a Simulate Data pop-up warning window states: “WARNING − Data
simulation will be terminated.” “Do you wish to continue?” Click the Yes but-
ton.
(16) At the Recording block, click the Stop Recording button.
(17) Observe a Record Data pop-up warning window states: “WARNING − Data re-
cording will be terminated.” “Do you wish to continue?” Click the Yes button.
(18) Click the Close button to exit the Test Flight Recorder menu and return to the
ROSE Main menu screen. This completes the ROSE Test for the FA5000CVDR.
(19) Select Exit/Quit Button at the ROSE Main menu and Right Click on RI Icon in
the Task Manager Bar and select Shutdown.
(20) Remove Power to the FA5000CVDR Recorder.
(21)
Disconnect Cable Assemblies between ROC/7 and Recorder.
(22) Proceed with the ULB test.
