Operating the Expert(t) 2000

1. Park the Expert(t) 2000
TM
on level
ground in an area where small
debris can fall on the ground for
further collection.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Fully extend the arm and the
packer.
4. Apply the Lockout/Tagout
procedure. Refer to “Lockout/
Tagout” on page 6 .
5. Clean all accumulated dirt under
the cylinders and in the side
tracks using a hoe and a water
jet if necessary.
6. Clean out the rest of the
Expert(t) 2000
TM
body.
Note:Perform a visual inspection of
the hopper area in search of
possible leaks in the hydraulic
system and wear on the
mechanical parts.
7. Open the Clean-out trap door on
both sides of the hopper.

8. Rake with the hoe small pieces
of garbage out of the clean-out
trap.
9. Clean the area with a water jet.
10. Close the clean-out trap doors.
11. Retract the arm along the
hopper.
CAUTION
BE CAREFUL WITH THE LIMIT
SWITCHES WHEN CLEANING THE
HOPPER
; HITTING THEM CAN
CAUSE
THEM TO LOSE PROPER
ADJUSTMENT.
DO NOT USE THE WATER JET
DIRECTLY
ON CONNECTORS OR
BATTERY FUSES.
