Why is there insufficient water flow from my Lancer Dispenser?
    • G
      Gina KingSep 18, 2025
If you're experiencing insufficient water flow from your Lancer Dispenser, verify the incoming supply water pressure is a minimum of 25 PSI (0.172 MPA). Ensure the shutoff on the mounting block is fully open. Remove the water flow control from the upper body and clean out any foreign material to ensure smooth, free spool movement. Also, remove the water pump strainer and clean it.

What to do if no product is dispensed from my Lancer Dispenser?
    • T
      Trevor CrawfordAug 25, 2025
If your Lancer Dispenser is not dispensing any product, start by ensuring that the water and syrup shutoffs on the mounting block are fully open. For electric valves, check that the key switch is in the ON position. If the cup lever arm or ID panel actuator isn't actuating the switch, it may need repair. Verify that electric current is reaching the valve; if adequate, check the solenoid coil and switch, replacing if necessary. Also, check for proper water and syrup supply by removing the valve and slightly opening the shutoffs. If there's no flow, check for freeze-ups or other supply issues. Finally, reset the transformer circuit breaker; if it trips again, refer to Section 5.23.

Why are drinks from my lancer 9000 warm?
    • S
      Sharon ScottAug 26, 2025
If your Lancer Dispenser is dispensing warm drinks, check for restricted airflow around the unit, ensuring clearances on the sides, top, and inlet. Remove any obstructions blocking the grill. Verify the dispenser is connected to a cold water supply. If the refrigeration system isn't running, refer to sections 5.16 - 5.20. Look for refrigerant leaks, and have them repaired and recharged. Check if the condenser fan motor is working and replace it if necessary. Clean a dirty condenser. If the dispenser's capacity is exceeded, consider adding a pre-cooler or replacing it with a larger dispenser.

How to reduce excessive foaming in my lancer 9000 Dispenser?
    • T
      Theresa GrahamAug 27, 2025
If you're experiencing excessive foaming from your Lancer Dispenser, first check if the incoming water or syrup temperature is too high and correct it. Consider a larger dispenser or pre-cooler. Adjust the CO2 pressure downward, but not below 70 PSI (0.483 MPA). Readjust and reset the ratio, referring to Section 1.17. Ensure the nozzle and diffuser are installed correctly and are clean. Bleed any air from the BIB lines. Check the quality of the ice used and also check the refrigeration system if the beverage temperature is high.

Why is there insufficient syrup flow from my Lancer Dispenser?
    • J
      Jessica BakerSep 23, 2025
If you're experiencing insufficient syrup flow from your Lancer Dispenser, adjust the CO pressure to 80 PSI (0.550 2 MPA), with a minimum of 70 PSI (0.480 MPA) for BIB pumps. Ensure the shutoff on the mounting block is fully open. Remove the syrup flow control from the upper body and clean out any foreign material to ensure smooth, free spool movement.

What causes an erratic ratio in my lancer 9000 Dispenser?
    • C
      Christy MillerSep 23, 2025
If you're experiencing an erratic ratio in your Lancer Dispenser, check the pressure and adjust if the incoming water and/or syrup supply is not at the minimum flowing pressure. Remove the flow controls from the upper body and clean out any foreign material to ensure smooth, free spool movement if there is foreign debris in the water and/or syrup flow controls.

What causes the Lancer Dispenser compressor to run continuously until it freezes?
    • G
      gregoryhodgeSep 4, 2025
If the compressor on your Lancer Dispenser starts and continues to run until freeze and will not cut off, refer to Section 6 for a malfunctioning PCB or faulty ice bank probe. Check the positioning of the ice bank probe and replace it if needed. Replace the ice bank probe if it is shorted to the ground.

Why won't the valve shut off on my lancer 9000?
    • T
      Tyler ColemanSep 1, 2025
If your Lancer Dispenser valve will not shut off, the cup lever may be sticking or binding; correct or replace the lever. Check the switch for free actuation. If the solenoid armature is not returning to the bottom position, replace the defective armature or spring.
