Setting the monitor number
To program a number you should do in order the following operations:
• PressthePROGbuttonthreetimes.Themonitorgoesintoprogrammingmode,whichis
signaledbyashortsimultaneousashingofLED1andLED2signalingdiodes.
• Setting the number of hundreds. Press the CONVERSATION button as many times as
hundredshas theprogrammednumber (0,1or2).Each pressissignaledbyblinking
LED2.EndtheoperationwiththeLOCKbutton,whichwillbeconrmedbyalongash
ofthediode.Ifthenumberofhundredsis0(programmednumberlessthan100),imme-
diately press the LOCK button.
• Setting the number of tens. Press the CONVERSATION button as many times as tens
has the programmed number. Each press is signaled by blinking LED2. End the opera-
tionwiththeLOCKbutton,whichwillbeconrmedbyalongashofthediode.Ifthe
numberoftensis0,immediatelypresstheLOCKbutton.
• Setting the number of units. Press the CONVERSATION button as many times as the
unity has the programmed number. Each press is signaled by blinking LED2. End the
operationwiththeLOCKbutton,whichwillbeconrmedbyalongashofthediode.
Ifthenumberofunitsis0,presstheLOCKbutton.Themonitornumberhasbeenpro-
grammed.
• Restore the programmed number. The LED2 starts blinking as many times as next digits
oftheprogrammednumber(numberofhundreds,tensandunits).
Alongerpausemeansmovingtothenextdigitintheprogrammednumber,andalongera-
shingoftheLED1indicatesthezerovalueofthegivendigit.Thenthediodeswillsignalthe
current state of the device.
Iftheprogrammingprocedureisnotcompletedandtheidletimeexceeds30seconds,the
procedure will automatically exit and the monitor number will not be changed.
Checking the monitor number
TochecktheprogrammednumberofthemonitorpressthePROGbuttoninstandbymode.
The LED1 and LED2 will light for a moment. The LED2 starts blinking as many times as
nextdigitsoftheprogrammednumber(numberofhundreds,tensandunits).Alongerpau-
semeansmovingtothenextdigitintheprogrammednumber,andalongerashingofthe
LED1indicatesthezerovalueofthegivendigit.Afternishingthedemonstrateofthepro-
grammednumber,theLEDsindicatingthecurrentstatusofthemonitorwilllightup.
Video line conguration
Dependingonthetopologyofthevideotransmissionsystem,threesettingsareavailableto
congurethevideoline.Thesesettingsaremadeusingappropriatejumperslocatedonthe
back of the monitor (Figure 6 or a sticker on the back of the monitor).
• BNC–setthejumperinthispositionifthevideosignalissentviacoaxialcable.Theline
can be loaded with a terminator (JP3 jumper).
• UTP set the jumper in this position if the video signal is sent symmetrically twisted pair.
