3.7 Hydraulic Fluid
Keep away from any leaks or loose connections while system is pres-
surized.
Allow ample time for hydraulic fluid to cool before changing or
repairing
leaks.
Ensure to use the correct fluid in the hydraulic tank.
Check fluid level and quality daily.
Incorrect fluid, inadequate fluid level, or contaminated fluid will cause
da
mage to the hydraulic system.
The hydraulic oil used in your Articulator is formu-
lated to prolong the life of the hydrostatic pumps.
Lastec offers the following oil kits (system capacity
is approximately 5 quarts).
1. Turn the engine off.
2. Check the hydraulic fluid level and condition.
3. Ensure the hydraulic oil level remains at the FULL mark at all times.
Do not overfill.
