INTRODUCTION TO THE USER MANUAL
This manual explains the operation of the LCB instrument through the use of the LCB Manager
software and/or the communication interface.
For example, DIVISION section: the first part explains what the division is and how to modify it by
using LCB Manager; the second part (COMMUNICATION INTERFACE) explains how to
perform the same operation by using the communication interface commands.
For a better understanding of the contents, it is assumed the knowledge of the following topics:
- management of weight values via the communication interface (see section DIVISION);
- alarm identification (see section ALARMS);
- registers and data of the communication interface (see section COMMUNICATION INTERFACE);
- LCB Manager software (see section LCB MANAGER).
LCB MANAGER
The LCB Manager software replicates on the PC monitor the Laumas instrument
interface with 7-segment display, signalling LEDs and keyboard. Any reference to
the display, the keys and the LEDs is related to the LCB Manager software.
