The first step is to decide
• whether you want to protect individual
pictures ,
or
• all pictures
simultaneously ,
or
• whether you want to clear the existing protection
for individual pictures ,
or
• for all pictures .
Note:
The following functions cannot be performed and the
menu text appears in white instead of black to indi-
cate this:
– Protecting a picture that is already protected, or if
all pictures are already protected.
– Unprotecting a picture that is already unprotected,
or if no pictures are already protected.

After leaving menu control, the original monitor dis-
play appears again, with the corresponding symbol
for protected pictures (4.1.1/4.2.3).
Note:
The symbol also appears if a picture that is
already protected is opened.
