Why is the RC800 remote control not working with my Leica Rugby 880?
If the RC800 remote control is not working properly, it may be because the remote control is out of usable range. For normal operation, the remote control works up to 300 m (1,000’). Another reason may be that the batteries of the remote are low. Check the Remote Battery LED on the control panel and change the remote control batteries.

The laser stops too often to relevel because the sensitivity setting may be set to the "fine" setting (Setting 1). Choose the Sensitivity Setting 2 in the option menu. The Tripod may be unstable, so check your tripod for stability, tighten all screws, and use sand bags on the legs if necessary. Also, the wind may be causing the Rugby to move too much, so shelter the Rugby from the wind and press the tripod legs more firmly into the ground.
