Lemon RX Stabilizer PLUS Receiver – Essential Instructions v.1.5
19
1) Do not use channel 7 for retracts. Instead, assign electric retracts to channel 6 and use channel 7 for a
function such as flaps (few servos cause the problem).
2) Plug in the channel 7 connector after the receiver has powered up (usually inconvenient).
3) Put a small switch in the signal lead of the device on channel 7 and only switch ON after power up (still
inconvenient but better than 2 above).
4) Add a resistor in the signal lead for channel 7. This increases the resistance so the receiver does not go
into bind mode. It does not normally affect the operation of either retracts or a servo on that channel
because the signal current is very small. A value of 1000 Ohms (1k) is a good starting point. The lower the
value that reliably prevents binding the better.
An example of a problematic model is the Dynam P61, where both the retracts and the servos on channel 7
will cause the receiver to go into bind on application of power. One user on RCGroups reported solving this
completely with a 680 Ohm resistor in the channel 7 signal wire.
As far as is known, the issue affects versions V4 and v4.5 of the regular Stabilizer. It does not normally occur
with the Stabilizer PLUS. Versions of the regular Stabilizer prior to v4 do not allow channel 7 to be used at all
when the receiver is in stabilized mode.
