Yourcomputerhasamedia-card-readerslot.Itsupportsthefollowingcards:
•MultiMediaCard(MMC)
•SecureDigitaleXtended-Capacity(SDXC)card
•SecureDigital(SD)card
•SecureDigitalHigh-Capacity(SDHC)card
Note:Yourcomputerdoesnotsupportthecontentprotectionforrecordablemedia(CPRM)feature
fortheSDcard.
Attention:Whiletransferringdatatoorfromaflashmediacard,donotputyourcomputerintosleepor
hibernationmodebeforethedatatransferiscompleted;otherwise,yourdatacouldgetdamaged.
Installingaflashmediacard
Attention:Beforeyoustartinstallingacard,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.Thisaction
reducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Thestaticelectricitycoulddamagethecard.
Toinstallacard,dothefollowing:
1.Ensurethatthecardiscorrectlyoriented.
2.Insertthecardfirmlyintothe4-in-1mediacardreaderslot.
Iftheplug-and-playfeatureisnotenabledfortheinstalledflashmediacard,dothefollowingtoenable
thefeature:
1.OpenControlPanel.
2.ClickHardwareandSound.
3.ClickDeviceManager.Ifyouarepromptedforanadministratorpasswordorconfirmation,typethe
passwordorprovideconfirmation.
4.FromtheActionmenu,selectAddlegacyhardware.TheAddHardwareWizardstarts.
5.Followtheinstructionsonthescreen.
Removingaflashmediacard
Attention:
•Beforeremovingacard,stopthecardfirst.Otherwise,dataonthecardmightgetdamagedorlost.
•Donotremoveacardwhilethecomputerisinsleepmodeorhibernationmode.Otherwise,thesystem
mightnotrespondwhenyoutrytoresumeoperation.
Toremoveaflashmediacard,dothefollowing:
1.ClickthetriangulariconintheWindowsnotificationareatoshowhiddenicons.Then,right-clickthe
SafelyRemoveHardwareandEjectMediaicon.
2.Selecttheitemyouwanttoremovetostopthecard.
3.Pressthecardtoejectitfromyourcomputer.
4.Removethecardandstoreitsafelyforfutureuse.
