ToinstalltheMicrosoftWindowsSmallBusinessServer2011PremiumAdd-onoperatingsystem,dothe
following:
1.Inserttheoperatingsysteminstallationdiscintotheopticaldrivethatyouhavesetasthefirststartup
device.Then,starttheserverfromtheopticaldrive.
Note:IfthemessagePressanykeytobootfromcdisdisplayed,pressanykey.IfthemessageWindows
Setup[EMSEnabled]isdisplayed,pressEnter.
2.IntheInstallingWindowswindow,selectthelanguageandotheroptions.Then,clickNext.
3.ClickInstallnow.
4.Selecttheoperatingsystemthatyouwanttoinstall,andthenclickNext.
5.ReadthelicensetermsandselectIacceptthelicenseterms.Then,clickNext.
6.Selectthetypeofinstallationasyouneed.ThefollowingstepsarebasedonthescenariothatCustom
(Advanced)isselectedinthisstep.
7.Inthe“WheredoyouwanttoinstallWindows?”window,connecttheUSBstoragedevicethatcontains
thedrivertoyourserverandclickLoadDriver.
8.GotothefolderwherethedriverisstoredandclickOK.
9.SelectthedriverthatyouwanttoinstallandclickNexttoinstallthedriver.
10.Inthe“WheredoyouwanttoinstallWindows?”window,clickDriveoptions(advanced).
11.Selecttheharddiskdriveonwhichyouwanttoinstalltheoperatingsystem,andthenclickNew.
12.Typetheamountofspace(inMB),andthenclickApply.
13.IntheInstallWindowswindow,clickOK.
14.Ensurethatthedrivepartitioniscorrect,andthenclickNext.Theinstallationbegins.
15.Changeyourpasswordwhenprompted.
Note:Thepasswordmustbeacombinationofuppercaseletters,lowercaseletters,andnumbers.
16.Followtheinstructionsonthescreentologintotheoperatingsystemwhenprompted.
