Toinstalladriverforanonboardgraphicscard,dothefollowing:
1.CopyanonboardgraphicscarddriverfromtheThinkServerEasyStartupDVDtoaUSBstoragedevice.
Double-clicktheEXEfiletounzipittoafolder.ConnecttheUSBstoragedevicetoyourserver.
2.LogintotheoperatingsystemandcopythefolderfromyourUSBstoragedevicetothe/tmpdirectory
onyourserver.
3.Usethefollowingcommandstoinstallthedriver:
cd/tmp
cdxorg75
./update.sh
Note:Inthecommandlines,xorg75representsthenameofthedriverfolder.Usethecorrespondingfile
nameonyourserver.
4.Restartyourserver.

InstallingthedriverforaCNAcard
ThedriverforaCNAcardisinstalledduringtheoperatingsysteminstallation.

thedrivertoaUSBstoragedevice.Themostup-to-datedevicedriversforvariousservermodelsare
alwaysavailableontheLenovoWebsiteat:

ToinstalltheRedHatEnterpriseLinuxAS5.9(x64orx86)operatingsystem,dothefollowing:
1.Inserttheoperatingsysteminstallationdiscintotheopticaldrivethatyouhavesetasthefirststartup
device.Then,starttheserverfromtheopticaldrive.
2.Whenthewelcomewindowisdisplayed,inputthefollowingcommandlineafterboot:,andthenpress
Enter:
linuxddnoprobe=ata1noprobe=ata2noprobe=ata3noprobe=ata4
3.IntheDriverdiskwindow,selectYesandthenpressEnter.
4.IntheInsertDriverDiskwindow,selectOKandthenpressEnter.
5.IntheMoreDriverDiskswindow,selectNo.
6.IntheCDFoundwindow,dependingonyourneeds,selectOKtobegintheinstallationmediatestor
selectSkiptoskipthemediatestandstarttheinstallation.PressEnter.
7.Whentheinstallationwindowisdisplayed,clickNext.
