24.IntheHardwareConfigurationwindow,selectNextandthenpressEnter.
25.IntheInstallationCompletedwindow,clickFinish.

InstallingthedriverforanEthernetcard
ThistopicprovidesinstructionsonhowtoinstallthedriverforanEthernetcard.
ToinstallthedriverforanEthernetcard,dothefollowing:
1.CopytheEthernetcarddriverfromtheThinkServerEasyStartupDVDtoyourlocaldrive.Double-click
theEXEfiletounzipittoafolder.CopythefoldertoyourUSBstoragedeviceandconnecttheUSB
storagedevicetoyourserver.
2.LogintotheoperatingsystemandcopythefolderfromyourUSBstoragedevicetothe/tmpdirectory
onyourserver.
3.Usethefollowingcommandstoinstallthedriver:
cd/tmp
tarzxvfe1000e-x.x.x.x.tar.gz
cde1000e-x.x.x.x/src
makeinstall
Note:Inthecommandlines,e1000e-x.x.x.xrepresentsthenameofthedriverfile.Usethe
correspondingfilenameonyourserver.
4.RestartyourserverandclickComputeronthelowerleftcorner.
