7.IntheNetworkSetupMethodwindow,selectUserControlledwithNetworkManagerandclickNext.
8.ChooseanEthernetcardasyouneedandclickEdit.
9.IntheNetworkAddressSetupwindow,selectStaticAddressSetupandconfigurethesettingsas
youneed.Then,clickNext.
10.ConfigureotherEthernetcardsifneeded.ClickFinishtocompletetheEthernetcardconfiguration.
Installingthedriverforanonboardgraphicscard

Toinstallthedriverforanonboardgraphicscard,dothefollowing:
1.CopytheonboardgraphicscarddriverfromtheThinkServerEasyStartupDVDtoyourlocaldrive.
Double-clicktheEXEfiletounzipittoafolder.CopythefoldertoyourUSBstoragedeviceandconnect
theUSBstoragedevicetoyourserver.
2.LogintotheoperatingsystemandcopythefolderfromyourUSBstoragedevicetothe/tmpdirectory
onyourserver.
3.Usethefollowingcommandstoinstallthedriver:
cd/tmp
cd/xorg69
rpm–ivhxorg69-0.96-0.x86.rpm
Note:Inthecommandlines,xorg69representsthenameofthedriverpackagefileand
xorg69-0.96-0.x86.rpmrepresentsthedrivername.Usethecorrespondingfilenameonyourserver.
4.Restartyourserver.
InstallingthedriverforanHBAcard
ThistopicprovidesinstructionsonhowtoinstallthedriverforanHBAcard.
ToinstallthedriverforanHBAcard,dothefollowing:
1.CopytheHBAcarddriverfromtheThinkServerEasyStartupDVDtoyourlocaldrive.Double-clickthe
EXEfiletounzipittoafolder.CopythefoldertoyourUSBstoragedeviceandconnecttheUSB
storagedevicetoyourserver.
2.LogintotheoperatingsystemandcopythefolderfromyourUSBstoragedevicetothe/tmpdirectory
onyourserver.
3.Usethefollowingcommandstoinstallthedriver:
cd/tmp
tarzxvfelx-lpfc-dd-rhel6-8.3.7 .18-1-1.tar.gz
cdelx-lpfc-dd-rhel6-8.3.7 .18-1-1
chmodu+x*
./elx_lpfc_install.sh
Notes:
•Ifthefileextensionisnot.tar.gz,skipthesecondcommand.
•Inthecommandlines,elx-lpfc-dd-rhel6-8.3.7.18-1-1representsthenameofthedriverpackagefile
andelx_lpfc_install.shrepresentsthedrivername.Usethecorrespondingfilenameonyourserver.
