Mounng
Transmission elements
•
Fit or remove transmission elements only using suitable equipment.
•
For ng the transmission elements use the center hole in the sha.
•
Avoid impacts and shocks.
•
In case of a belt drive, tension the belt in a controlled manner according to manufacturer
informaon.
•
Be sure to carry out mounng in a manner free from distoron.
•
Compensate minor inaccuracies by suitable exible couplings.
Fastening
•
Use screws with a minimum property class of 8.8.
•
Observe prescribed ghtening torques.
•
Secure against unintended loosening.
•
For alternang loads, we recommend applying anaerobic curing adhesive between ange
and mounng surface.
Gearbox with hollow sha and shrink disk
•
Use ng grease in the area of the contact surfaces of machine sha and hollow sha
bore.
•
Be sure to carry out mounng in a manner free from distoron.
•
Lead forces only across the hollow sha and not across the housing.
•
For axial fastening, use the snap ring grooves in the hollow sha.

Dismounng
•
Undo axial gearbox locking in the hollow sha
•
Extract the gearbox from the motor sha using an appropriate auxiliary tool

NOTICE

Never disassemble the new shrink disc.
▶
Thoroughly clean and degrease hollow sha bore and machine sha!
▶
Do not ghten clamping screws before the machine sha has been inserted, the hollow
sha may undergo plasc deformaon.
▶
Cover the shrink disc during operaon so that it is secured against contact by implemenng
suitable measures (e.g. cover).
