12. TROUBLE SHOOTING
In case of an unexpected event, caused by software or hardware reasons, the operator is prompted
with the message E r r x x , where xx is the Error code. Program is halted.
Press ) momentarily to acknowledge the error and proceed as indicated in the error operator
response. Errors may occur during setup, programming, power-up and during operation.
In all other cases of malfunction the user should contact the supplier, as the unit may probably
need service from an experienced technician

PRINTER IS NOT ON-LINE. Either not
connected or out of paper or failed.

No paper for EPSON TM295 printer.
Supply with paper.

Small sample count.
Retry.

Small sample weight.

Corrupted totaliser.
Clear totalising memory.

TOTALISER OVERFLOW.
Because totalisers have not been
cleared for long time.
Print / clear totalisers. Overflow is not
critical. But remember that 1 total
capacity must be added to the
indication, each time an overflow
occurs.
