the width of the reading field. Therefore, when selecting a mounting location and/or the bar-
code label, take into account the different reading characteristics of the scanner with various
barcode modules.
For different reading task and connection requirements, the BCL 8 is available in various
models (see chapter 4.4.1 "Type overview").
