3.1 The BCL 8 barcode reader
The BCL 8 barcode reader is a laser scanner with integrated decoder for all commonly used
barcodes, e.g. 2/5 Interleaved, Code 39, Code 128, EAN etc., with an extremely small
housing.
The many possible configurations of the device allow it to be adapted to a multitude of
reading tasks. Due to the small dimensions of the unit and its wide reading field, the BCL 8
may also be used in highly constrained spaces.
