AIR SHUTTER ADJUSTMENT (NATURAL GAS ONLY)
ADJUSTING THE AIR SHUTTER
The venturi of the burner is equipped with an air shutter. The opening of the venturi has been set at
1
/4" for Natural Gas and
fully open for Propane installation at sea level. Natural Gas Models may be adjusted for high altitude as follows:
To increase air mixture, pull down the adjustment rod located beneath the stove. This opens the shutter more and
will stop sooting. See Figure 49.
To decrease air mixture, push up the adjustment rod located beneath the stove. This closes the shutter. Flames will
be more yellow. See Figure 50.
