• Check the type and quality. Both high temperature and
humidity will cause curl. See “Print Media Specifications” on
page A.3.
• Turn over the stack of print media in the input tray. Also try
rotating the print media 180° in the input tray.
• Push the output lever and try printing to the face up output
slot.
Curl or wave
• Make sure the print media is loaded properly.
• Check the type and quality of print media. See “Print Media
Specifications” on page A.3.
• Push the output lever down and try printing to the face up
output slot.
• Turn over the stack of print media in the input tray. Also try
rotating the print media 180° in the feeder.
Wrinkles or creases
• The paper path may be dirty. See “Cleaning the Inside” on
page 6.6.
• Check to see if the toner is leaking from the print cartridge.
Clean inside the printer. See "Cleaning the Inside" on page
6.6.
Back of printouts dirty
• The print cartridge may not be installed properly. Remove
the cartridge and reinsert it.
• The print cartridge may be defective and need replacing.
Install a new print cartridge.
• The printer may require repairs. Contact a service
representative.
