In an optional output bin
Print media jams as it exits to an optional output bin and:
• A long section of the print media is visible
• A short section of the print media is visible
A long section of the print media is visible
1 Pull the print media straight out. If the print media does not move immediately when you pull,
stop pulling. Continue with the next step.
2 Push the output bin rear door latches in toward the center. The rear door opens and drops
down.
Note: Open both rear doors if the jam occurs in a high-capacity output stacker.
3 Loosen the print media if it is caught in the feeder rollers, and then pull the print media
straight out.
4 Close all output bin rear doors.
