COMPONENT ACCESS
REMOVING THE DOOR LATCH & DOOR SWITCH
1. Turn off the electrical supply going to the range.
2. Open the oven door.
3. Raise the cooktop (See the page 3-6 for the
procedure).
4. To remove the door latch:
a) Remove the two screws from the door latch
and remove the latch.
b) Remove the door latch from the front side of
cavity and unhook the actuating rod.
5. To remove the door switch:
a) If not already done, raise the cooktop
(See the page 3-6 for the procedure).
b) Remove 3 screws from a cooktop barrier.
c) Remove wiring from the door switch
d) Remove the door switch from the range.
To do this, squeeze tab on the switch and
push the switch in front.

WARNING
• DISCONNECT power supply cord
from the outlet before servicing.
• Replace all panels and parts before
operating.
• RECONNECT all grounding devices.
- Failure to do so can result in severe personal
injury, death or electrical shock.
CAUTION
• Be careful when you work on the
electric range handling the sheet
metal part.
- Sharp edge may be present and you can cut
yourself.
