Phone Setup Options
Auto Keyguard
1. Press > Settings > Keyguard.
(An information window is displayed.)
2. Read the information and press .
3. Highlight On or Off and press .
Shortcuts
Your phone offers you the option of assigning shortcuts
to favorite or often-used functions. Press the navigation
key to the assigned direction in standby mode to launch
your personally designated shortcuts.
1. Press > Settings > More... > Navigation Keys.
(An information window is displayed.)
2. Read the information and press .
3. Press the Navigation key you want to configure.
4. Using the navigation key or your keypad, highlight
the desired shortcut and press .
WARNING
911 Emergency Calling
Sprint recommends that TTY users make
emergency calls by other means, including
Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS),
analog cellular, and landline
communications. Wireless TTY calls to 911
may be corrupted when received by public
safety answering points (PSAPs), rendering
some communications unintelligible. The
problem encountered appears related to
TTY equipment or software used by PSAPs.
This matter has been brought to the
attention of the FCC, and the wireless
industry and the PSAP community are
currently working to resolve this.
