ÒReset to Factory DefaultsÓ
This program is designed to put the LI-6400 into a ÒknownÓ state quickly. It
simply implements the master list without any user list. It is functionally
equivalent to ÒReset to User ConfigÓ, and selecting “Factory Default” (provid-
ed “Factory Default” is an empty file).
The user is prompted for one thing:
Re-install config files? (Y/N).
Pressing Y will reinstall the configuration files (on the current config disk,
typically /User). Pressing N will skip that, and pressing escape will abort.
ÒReset to User Configuration
This program allows the user to select a configuration (provided there is more
than just “Factory Defaults” in the “Configs/UserPrefs” directory. After implement-
ing the master list, the user is prompted to select a configuration (Figure 16-1
on page 16-3), and it is then implemented.
