What to do if Liebert Air Conditioner has high pressure protection?
    • A
      Angela BradleyAug 18, 2025
If the Liebert Air Conditioner experiences high pressure protection, it could be due to a clogged condenser. Clean the condenser. If it is an air-cooled system, check the condensing fan. Also, too much refrigerant may have been charged. Check whether the subcooling degree is too high.

What to do if contactor does not close and Liebert CR035 Air Conditioner compressor does not start?
    • K
      Kimberly BooneAug 20, 2025
If the contactor does not close and the Liebert Air Conditioner compressor does not start, check the state of the micro-processing controller. Inspect the high pressure MCB for high pressure alarm. Check for discharging low/high temperature alarms. View the history alarm for a low pressure alarm. Check the contactor and the compressor driver. Check if the compressor coil is open circuit. If so, wait till the coil is cooled and it will be restored automatically.

What to do if Liebert CR035 contactor closes, but heating is ineffective?
    • C
      cainstevenAug 23, 2025
If the contactor closes but the heating is ineffective in your Liebert Air Conditioner, first check that the heating MCB is closed and that the power voltage of contactor L1, L2, L3 is normal. If the issue persists, cut off the power supply and measure the resistance of the heater with an ohmmeter to determine if the electric heater is damaged.

Why Liebert Air Conditioner compressor does not start?
    • L
      Lisa GarciaAug 26, 2025
If the Liebert Air Conditioner compressor doesn't start, several factors could be at play. First, check the main power supply for undervoltage, overvoltage, or phase loss. Then, inspect the compressor's MCB, contactor, and connecting cables. Review the unit's alarm records, replace any damaged components, and power it on again. Finally, examine the motor for shorted and burnt coils, replacing it if necessary.

What to do if Liebert CR035 compressor stops after 3 minutes?
    • B
      Brandon SmithAug 28, 2025
If your Liebert Air Conditioner's compressor stops after running for only 3 minutes and the contactor opens, it could be due to a refrigerant leak causing low pressure. First, check the suction pressure. Second, inspect the low pressure sensor's circuit. Finally, calibrate the low pressure sensor reader to ensure it's within ±0.3bar of the actual pressure.

    Charles ShafferAug 30, 2025
Why is Liebert Air Conditioner compressor too noisy?
    • K
      Kathryn CarpenterAug 30, 2025
If the Liebert Air Conditioner's compressor is too noisy, it could be due to liquid returning into the compressor or worn-out bearings. Refer to the troubleshooting steps for 'Low suction pressure or liquid returned.' Also, try adding lubricant to the compressor.

How to troubleshoot Liebert CR035 Air Conditioner EC fan that does not start?
    • K
      Kimberly AnthonySep 2, 2025
If the EC fan of your Liebert Air Conditioner doesn't start, first check that the fan MCB is closed and that the power voltage of each phase is normal. If the issue persists, check J15 on the micro-processing control board to determine if the control board is faulty. Then, inspect the alarm lamp on the fan power module to see if it is faulty. Finally, check L1, L2, and L3 of the fan for power failure, phase loss, and low voltage; confirm that the analog output is within 0 ~ 10Vdc; check for motor clogging or overheating; and check for Hall failure.

Why is Liebert CR035 compressor over-temperature?
    • S
      Sarah HuertaSep 4, 2025
If the Liebert Air Conditioner's compressor is overheating, it could be caused by a high compression ratio or a high suction overheat degree. Check the settings of the HP and LP switches, and ensure the condenser is not clogged. Verify that the evaporator and condenser fans are functioning normally. Regulate the electronic expansion valve or add the correct amount of refrigerant.

What causes low suction pressure or liquid returned in Liebert CR035 Air Conditioner?
    • J
      julieeatonSep 7, 2025
If your Liebert Air Conditioner has low suction pressure or liquid is returning, it could be due to several reasons. First, check for refrigerant leaks, seal any leaks, and add refrigerant. Second, replace the air filter if it's dirty. Third, replace the filter drier if it's clogged. Fourth, check the control board of the electronic expansion valve for improper superheating degree. Fifth, replace the sensing element if the electronic expansion valve is faulty. Sixth, check the air supply and return system for improper air flow distribution. Finally, check whether the condenser is faulty, which could cause low condensing pressure.

Why Liebert CR035 heating system does not start?
    • M
      Michael AlexanderSep 9, 2025
If the heating system of your Liebert Air Conditioner doesn't start and the contactor doesn't close, it could be due to a lack of heating demand or an open safety device. Check the state of the micro-processing controller to confirm if a heating command is required. Use a multimeter to measure the resistance on both ends of the temperature controller; if the resistance is very large, the safety device may be open. Then check if the fuse is open and if the temperature controller is damaged. Measure the resistance of the heater with an ohmmeter to judge if the heater is damaged.
