The gau ge indicat es the oi l vol ume in
the oi l tank when the ign ition sw itch is
at “ON”.

The curs or of fu el gauge will sway when bra kin g,
accele ratin g or turnin g a corner, which is caused
by th e slo shin g fu el in th e ta nk.
The the rm ometer indicates the tem peratu re
of engine coolant when the igniti on switch is
at “ON”.

The cursor close to “H”indicates the temperature
of engine is too high; you must stop the vehicle
to make the engine cool down.
Engine may overheat under the following
working conditions, for example:
● Drive the vehicle in the long- distance
slope(d own-u p) in a hot day.
● Speed down or stop aft er dri ving th e vehicle
at high speed.
● Open the air conditioning and ru n the
engine for a long time with fre quent stops.
It does not mean the engine goes wrong even
if the cursor of engine coolant thermometer
returns to “C” when the ignition switch
turns to “START”.
Note
● Do not take off the thermostat in the
engine co oling system , otherwise, the
engine will overheat. The therm ostat is
use d to co ntrol the co olant flow and ke ep the
temperat ure of engine within the perm itted
operat ing ran ge.
● Do not driv e th e vehicle conti nuously when
the engine overheats. See Chapte r 4 “If Vehicle
Overheats”.
● Idle rotat ion speed is too hi gh.
