Users
User Groups
ApexZ supports up to 250 users within 3 different user level groups: Operators, Power Users and Administrators.
ApexZ can operate with users enabled or disabled. With users enabled, an Administrator level user must be
created and maintained.
Administrator level user accounts control valid and invalid operator and power users and their access to the
ApexZ instrument operation and Settings.
Operator Group:
Operators can take manual samples, use saved presets, sample
plans and certifications. Operators cannot access settings and
cannot create new users.
Power User Group
Power Users can do all that Operators can do. Power Users can
also view and edit settings. Power Users cannot create new users
and cannot perform Instrument Settings Reset or Factory Reset.
Administrator Group
Administrators can do all that Operators and Power Users can do
and can create new users. Administrators can also perform
Instrument Settings Reset and Factory Reset.
