INSTALLATION PLANNING
SECTION 2:
INSTALLATION
Before beginning installation, make sure you have the necessary tools and
materials on hand and that the area underneath the proposed Topcat location is
cleared.
TOOLS & MATERIALS
In addition to the contents of the Topcat system,
you may need the following tools & materials:
• Flat blade screwdriver (small)
• Pliers
• Wire cutters
• Drill (for installations outside of U.S. and
Canada)
• Utility knife
• Safety wire anchors
• Wire ties
NOTE: Topcat is designed for
installation in a 2’ x 2’ or 2’ x 4’
suspended ceiling grid (or 600mm x
600mm international ceiling grids). If
you do not have this type of ceiling,
please contact your local Lightspeed
Classroom Audio Consultant.
