What to do if Linak SMPS-T160 actuator stops moving?
    • S
      Sean JohnsonAug 3, 2025
If your Linak I/O Systems actuator stops or shows no movement, it could be due to several reasons: * The 24 V DC power supply might have been turned off. * The actuator may be overloaded, exceeding 5.5 A. * The actuator might have exceeded the accepted duty cycle (over 10%). The power supply will automatically reengage after a few minutes.

What to do if Linak SMPS-T160 I/O Systems hand control has no power?
    • S
      Samantha Johnson MDAug 9, 2025
If there is no power for the hand control of your Linak I/O Systems, it could be due to the auxiliary power supply being cut off because of too high power consumption (more than 300 mA). Check the control cables for a short circuit or too high current consumption in the control unit. The polyfuse will automatically reengage the power after a few minutes.

Why is my Linak SMPS-T160 I/O Systems actuator moving slowly?
    • D
      Douglas GreenAug 18, 2025
A slow-moving Linak I/O Systems actuator can be caused by: * Overload. * Exceeding the accepted duty cycle (over 10%). * High ambient temperature, possibly from direct sunlight. The output power is reduced due to high internal temperature. The power supply will switch back to normal when the temperature drops.

How to troubleshoot Linak SMPS-T160 with no motor sound or piston rod movement?
    • M
      Michael PattersonAug 26, 2025
If your Linak I/O Systems exhibits no motor sound or piston rod movement, it might be due to wrongly connected signal cables. Check the AC supply, change the cable, and verify the signal wiring. Outwards: Red wire +24VDC. Inwards: Black wire +24VDC.
