How To Use the USB Connection

To back up and restore printer settings with a memory stick:
1 At the Print Monitor page, press the Menu key to display the Menu page (see
Figure 1 on page 3).
2 Select the USB option to display the USB page (see Figure 2 on page 3).
4.1 Back up a printer to a memory stick
To back up printer settings from a printer to a memory stick:
1 Insert a memory stick into the USB connector at the front of the printer (see note on
page 2).
2 Select the Backup Printer to USB option to begin the back-up. The back-up
operation can take up to 5 minutes. A progress bar shows the progress of the
operation.
