Using Easy Guider: Disc
Tools
Disc Tools offers a quick access to completing
post-production tasks. With Disc Tools, you can
easily erase materials on discs, and fi nalize discs
when necessary.
Before you start...
1.
If you would like to use the ‘Erase’ function,
please make sure all your important fi les
are safely backed up. Once the function is
executed, all contents will be permanently
deleted.
Erase

On the Easy Guider menu, press  to select
‘Disc Tools’, then press
ENTER.

Press  to select ‘Erase’.

Press  to select ‘Go’, then press ENTER
to start erasing.

The erasing process will begin.

When completed, select ‘Exit’, then press
ENTER.
Finalize (Make Compatible)

On the Easy Guider menu, press  to select
‘Disc Tools’, then press
ENTER.

Press  to select ‘Finalize (Make Compat-
ible)’.

Press  to select ‘Go’, then press ENTER
to start fi nalizing.

The fi nalizing process will begin.

When completed, select ‘Exit’, then press
ENTER.
About ‘Finalization’
Finalizing a disc is a necessary step when you want
to share certain types of digital content with others.
Once a disc is fi nalized, it can be played back on
other DVD players or on PCs.
