1. Open the service panel. Place a suitable container
under the service panel to catch the water. (If there is
an emergency drain hose, take o the hose cap and
let the water run out, then replace the drain hose.)
2. Carefully loosen the drain lter. Water may drain out -
this is normal. Unscrew the lter to remove it.
3. Remove any lint and debris before carefully replacing
the lter.
4. Turn the lter clockwise to screw back into place.
Close the service panel.
Preventing a Frozen Water Supply Hose
If your washing machine is delivered in freezing weather conditions, leave it at room temperature
for 24 hours after you’ve set it up before using it. This ensures there’s no ice blocking the water
supply hose.
Cleaning the Inlet Filter of the Water Supply Hose
1. Turn o the power. Turn o the tap. Remove the water
supply hose from the tap.
2. Clean the lter with a brush.
3. Unscrew the water supply hose from the backside of
the machine. Pull out the lter with long nose pliers.
4. Use a brush to clean the lter.
5. Re-install the lter to its original position.
6. Re-connect the water supply hose to the tap and turn
the tap back on, checking for leaks.

• Make sure that the machine has nished the washing cycle and is empty. Switch it
o and unplug before cleaning the drain lter. Never open the service panel during a
wash cycle.
• Be careful not to burn yourself while cleaning the drain lter. Water draining from the
lter compartment may be hot after a high temperature wash.
• Be careful of hot water. Allow the water to cool down. Risk of scalding!
• Clean the drain lter every 3 months to ensure the normal operation of the
appliance.
• When replacing the lter, ensure it is securely re-tightened.
