Guide for troubleshooting for PS2 pump controller
Version: V210126
This table shows the max. allowed voltage for each PS2 controller type as well as the min.
voltage which is necessary to reach the max. speed:
PS2 pump controller
Min. voltage for max. speed
Max. voltage
PS2-150
18 V DC
50 V DC
PS2-200
45 V DC
100 V DC
PS2-600
45 V DC
150 V DC
PS2-1800
95 V DC
200 V DC
PS2-4000
240 V DC
375 V DC
The preferred voltage level is between the min. voltage for max. speed and the max. voltage.
Compare the measured voltage with the COMPASS report and the actual configuration of the PV
Generator to estimate whether there is a failure in the PV Generator:

Causes for a wrong voltage on the input of the controller could be:
Wrong configuration of the PV Generator
Redo the configuration of the PV Generator as described in the COMPASS report
Wrong polarity of the PV Generator
Interchange the input cables of the PV Generator
Defective PV-module in the PV Generator
Test each PV module to check whether a module is damaged
Short circuit on the Power-Board (voltage drops close to zero)
