6.5. How to check the MOSFETs in PS2 controller
Due to the design of the PS2 controller it is not possible to reach the MOSFETs directly with the
test prods of your multimeter. The following test shows an easy way to check the MOSFETs.
Please perform the following description step-by-step to check the MOSFETs:
• Disconnect all external cables which are
connected to the controller
• close the terminal clamps afterwards
• Squeeze both retaining collars together
to lift the LED-Board up
