Guide for troubleshooting for PS2 pump controller
Version: V210126
6.8. How to check analog sensors
The following guide will evaluate whether a wrong value is generated by the sensor or by the
controller. For this test a proper 15 V/24 V power supply is needed. Secure that the PS2
controller supplies the power properly by performing the following steps:
Configure your multimeter
o Choose voltage DC
measurement
o Insert the test prods into its
provided sockets (black to COM
& red to V DC)
Remove the protection cap, in order to
get a proper contact to the terminal
clamps
Remove all cables which are connected
to the analog terminal clamps
Depending on which analog input needs
to be checked, measure the voltage on
the terminal 7/8 or 9/10. Touch with the
red measuring tip (+) the terminal clamp
+15 V/24 V (T7 or T9) on the Power-
board as shown in the picture
Contact with the black measuring tip
(COM) the terminal clamp “signal” (T8 or
T10) on the Power-board as shown in
the picture
If voltage is present, please proceed with the following steps. If the voltage is not present you
need to replace the IO-Board probably. However, you can also follow the how-to article to check
the Power supplies inside the controller in chapter 6.4 on page 15.
