Guide for troubleshooting for PS2 pump controller
Version: V210126
products (as well as replacement boards) will not just avoid unnecessary site visits it will also
speed up the troubleshooting process: The faulty component in a pump system can be identified
much faster if a spare component is available for instant cross-checks.
An example:
PumpScanner actual data shows “Motor Control Error> A cause for this have its origin in a
fault in PV/Controller/Pump Unit. With a spare motor available on site it is easy to determine
whether the problem comes from the pump unit or the controller. If the spare motor (connected
to the controller directly):
is running, it is more likely that there is a problem with the pump unit
is not running, the issue seems to be located at the PV or the controller
Long story short:
Being well prepared for an on-site troubleshooting will save time and money. How to conduct
the troubleshooting in detail will be explained in the following chapters.
